About Sugra

Built to close the intelligence gap.

Data sources

Markets, economics, corporate filings, commodities, crypto, forex, weather, climate, agriculture, predictions, digital economy, environment, global news - we aggregate from a growing network of primary sources worldwide. What we deliver is a single, LLM-ready output. We handle the sourcing. You get the data.

AI Agnostic

We don't belong to any single model. Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, xAI - our orchestration layer routes every request to the right model automatically. Like Argus (Sugra, anagram), the all-seeing - a hundred eyes watching every signal at once. No lock-in. Ever.

2021

Incorporated in 2021, we believed in AI before it had a name everyone knew. The idea was born in 2019. By 2020 the mission was clear: make institutional-grade data and AI accessible to everyone, not just institutions. Finance, telecom, and beyond. In 2020 - before the ChatGPT phenomenon, before the boom - we were among the first to build with OpenAI through Microsoft for Startups. We were early. We were right.

Our story

Professional teams have always had better tools.

Proprietary data feeds, expensive terminals, custom analytics - none of it accessible to the rest of the market. We built Sugra to close that gap.

Sugra aggregates data from primary sources worldwide, routes analytical requests to the right AI model for each task, and delivers the output through a clean, unified interface. The same depth of analysis. No six-figure subscription.

Sugra Systems, Inc. was incorporated in September 2021 in Delaware, USA, at the intersection of data infrastructure and artificial intelligence.

The name

Where Sugra comes from.

Sugra is an anagram of Argus Panoptes - the all-seeing giant of Greek mythology, with a hundred eyes that never all closed at once. In our vision, that's AI: watching every market signal, every data point, simultaneously.

Sugra also abbreviates Supergravity Theory - the physics framework that attempts to unify all forces under one model. Both point to the same intent: total market visibility, unified in one place.

Mission

To build intelligent, reliable, and accessible data infrastructure - for builders who need more than surface-level data, and for businesses that depend on software working in production.

How it works

The full stack, end to end.

Data
Sugra API

The data layer behind every decision. Primary sources across markets, economics, corporate filings, agriculture, climate, and news - aggregated with automatic failover and delivered as structured JSON, ready for applications and LLMs.

Agent-native surface
Sugra API MCP

Call the API from any agent. The hosted MCP gateway and the sugra-api-mcp package turn every endpoint into an agent tool - search, describe, resolve, and call across the catalog. Powered by best-fit models.

Interface
Sugra Assist

A conversational helper for the API. Finds the right endpoint, picks the source, and shows you how to call it, over Sugra API MCP. Built for developers. In development.

Arman Obosyan

Nearly three decades across finance, government, enterprise technology, telecommunications, cloud, and AI.

Started in commercial banking: IntellectBank in 1999, then Bank of Georgia in 2004, where participated in Microsoft's Technology Adoption Program for Service Manager. In 2008, founded High-Tech Solutions, an IT consulting company. Moved to the public sector in 2010, leading IT Infrastructure at the National Bank of Georgia, the country's central bank, and contributing to the nationwide rollout of RTGS, the interbank settlement system.

Recognized as Microsoft MVP in 2010 for technical leadership and contribution to the development of the IT community in Georgia.

Joined Microsoft in 2011 and spent seven years in senior roles spanning technology strategy, business development, and public sector transformation across enterprise and government clients.

In 2020, served as Director of Technology and Services at OnCloud JSC, an investment project of Georgia Capital, the investment bank, designing and building out a 2-megawatt data center.

The same year, through Microsoft for Startups and early OpenAI access, started building in AI before the current wave.

In 2023, led the Georgian subsidiary of an international IT consulting group.

In 2024, took on telecom, leading growth, nationwide service delivery, and operational scale across network infrastructure, hundreds of employees, and carrier-grade operations.

One conviction has carried through: institutional-grade tools, once the privilege of banks, funds, and governments, can be put in the hands of anyone.

That became Sugra (Argus). Today, Sugra API is live - the cross-domain data API for AI agents.
